Hey There!
Sadie had a litter of four puppies in March 2025.
I am a firm believer that dogs should not be bred just because they can be…
This is one of the reasons I waited to breed Sadie until she was four years old - I wanted her to enjoy life prior to the responsibilities of having kids!
All About Sadie
In my opinion, the Mum (Dam) should have enough time to enjoy her puppies;
enjoy some down time without having to tend to the little ones; enjoy some recovery time; and enjoy just being a dog!
In saying this, it was evident Sadie absolutely loved being a parent.
There was much cleaning, licking, feeding, sleeping and playing!
Sadie has had everything checked - her eyes, heart, hips and elbows.
She has been given the great big tick of approval for all these areas
(otherwise I wouldn’t breed her - the reports can be shown if required).
Golden Retrievers can be susceptible to hip issues, but I will only breed Sadie
with a Dad (Sire) who has equally as good results in these areas as her.
This is part of the reason purebred breeders are willing to pay the extra
to be registered as “purebred breeders”.
They want to improve the breed and try to stop such ailments from being an issue.
This is also why purebred dogs often cost more… they’ve had the checks, a
nd they’re only bred with other well-bred dogs.
Well worth the investment.
As well as vaccinations and microchipping, each puppy is fed Royal Canin puppy food and is thoroughly checked by the vet (Chirnside Park Veterinary Clinic) prior to selling.
As a purchaser, you will also get a copy of this report,
having some confidence that the likelihood of ailments are reduced.
