Our
Story
So welcome to Golden Rays of Sunshine and thanks for taking the time to learn about how we came to be!
My name is Rachael and I have been lucky enough to have had
Golden Retrievers in my life for the last twenty-five years.
Currently, Buddy (7 years) and Sadie (5 years) occupy bedrooms in our home, and massive spaces in our hearts.
Sadie had her first litter in March, 2025
(born on St Patrick’s Day, so we figured we were all lucky, a
nd that her four pups would end up in lucky homes… which they did.)
She absolutely loved having her babies and she’s looking forward to having more later this year (hopefully due around November 2026).
We had discussions, and Sadie mentioned she’d only like one litter per year, so that’s what we’re doing. The last thing we want is for Sadie to have more pregnancies than she’s ready for!
When Sadie had her puppies, we opened up our home for people to come and cuddle the bundles of pure joy -
after all, how can one feel sad around Golden Retriever puppies?
